The biggest benefit is the peer networking opportunities. Getting to know each other makes it easy to share experiences, successes and failures, so that we can all do our jobs better.

Mi-GMIS participates in the GMIS listserve. Every fall, we have a 3 day conference in Michigan with speakers on relevant topics, a vendor exhibit area, and social opportunities to network with your peers.
